*Regular black lights, purple lights, or blue lights DON'T work for fluorescent minerals, so make sure you use the proper indicated UV light*
*Please keep in mind that the higher the UV light's wattage is, the brighter the fluorescent reaction will be*

*You will need a true filtered Shortwave UV light in order to see the fluorescence shown in the pictures.
-Shortwave lamps have a range of 200-280 nm. (254 nm are recommended)
-Midwave lights have a spectrum of 280-315 nm and are also called UVA. (310-314 nm are recommended)
-Longwave lights have a spectrum of 315-400 nm and are also called UVA. (365 are recommended)
