This cerussite and barite crystal cluster has a really nice light yellow color under daylight, and it fluoresces a brighter yellow color under filtered Longwave (365nm) UV light. It also fluoresces under Midwave (MW 310nm) UV lights and Shortwave (SW 254nm) UV lights.

*Regular black lights, purple lights, or blue lights DON'T usually work for fluorescent minerals, so make sure you use the proper indicated UV light*
This specimen was photographed using a Convoy C8 Longwave (365nm) UV flashlight.
-Shortwave lamps have a range of 200-280 nm. (254 nm are recommended)
-Midwave lights have a spectrum of 280-315 nm and are also called UVA. (310-314 nm are recommended)
-Longwave lights have a spectrum of 315-400 nm and are also called UVA. (365 are recommended)
