Each UV light will show a different type of fluorescence, so feel free to ask questions to make sure your UV light will work on this piece!.

This specimen was photographed using a 36 watt UVTools shortwave ultraviolet lamp, an Engineous Designs Shortwave Flashlight (brighter SW photo), an Engineous Designs Midwave flashlight, and a Convoy s2+ Longwave UV light. The pictures have not been retouched.
-Shortwave lamps have a range of 200-280 nm. (254 nm are recommended)
-Midwave lights have a spectrum of 280-315 nm and are also called UVA. (310-314 nm are recommended)
-Longwave lights have a spectrum of 315-400 nm and are also called UVA. (365 are recommended)
