This large specimen contains some norbergite and diopside in Franklin marble.
*You will need an actual filtered Shortwave (SW 254nm) UV light in order to see the fluorescence shown in the pictures. A common blacklight or longwave UV light will not work. There is also some unique purple fluorescence under a Midwave (MW 310nm) UV light.*

This specimen was photographed using a 36 watt shortwave ultraviolet lamp. The pictures have not been retouched.
-Shortwave lamps have a range of 200-280 nm and are also called UV-C. (254 nm are recommended)
-Midwave lights have a spectrum of 280-315 nm and are also called UV-B (310-314 nm are recommended)
-Longwave lights have a spectrum of 315-400 nm and are also called UV-A. (365 are recommended)
