*You will need a filtered Shortwave (SW 254 nm) UV light, or a Midwave (MW 310nm) uv light in order to see the green fluorescence shown in the pictures. Regular black lights will not show fluorescence at all.
*Please keep in mind that the higher the UV light's wattage is, the brighter the fluorescent reaction will be*
This chalcedony and quartz geode half fluoresces green under filtered shortwave and midwave UV light.
There is an unidentified pink mineral as well.

This specimen was photographed using an Engenious Designs shortwave (254nm) ultraviolet flashlight, and an Engenious Designs midwave (310-314nm) uv flashlight. The pictures have not been retouched.
*You will need a true filtered Shortwave UV light in order to see the fluorescence shown in the pictures*
-Shortwave lamps have a range of 200-280 nm and are also called UV-C. (254 nm are recommended)
-Midwave lights have a spectrum of 280-315 nm and are also called UV-B (310-314 nm are recommended)
-Longwave lights have a spectrum of 315-400 nm and are also called UV-A. (365 are recommended)
