This specimen has white hyalite opal that fluoresces neon green under filtered Shortwave UV light (SW 254nm), and barely fluoresces under longwave UV light (LW 365nm).
There is some longwave phosphorescence in some areas (as seen in the last picture), and a blue shortwave unidentified mineral.

*You will need a true filtered Shortwave 254nm UV light in order to see the fluorescence shown in the pictures. A Longwave lamp will barely show fluorescence*
*Regular black lights, purple lights, or blue lights don't usually work for fluorescent minerals, so make sure you use the proper indicated UV light*
*Please keep in mind that the higher the UV light's wattage is, the brighter the fluorescent reaction will be*
This specimen was photographed using an Engenious Designs Shortwavw 254nm UV flashlight, and with a longwave Convoy C8 365nm UV flashlight. The pictures have not been retouched.
-Shortwave lamps have a range of 200-280 nm and are also called UV-C. (254 nm are recommended)
-Midwave lights have a spectrum of 280-315 nm and are also called UV-B (310-314 nm are recommended)
-Longwave lights have a spectrum of 315-400 nm and are also called UV-A. (365 are recommended)
