This rare fluorescent wernerite (scapolite) necklace is wrapped in gold plated wire and hangs on a 19" nude/tan/brown vegan faux suede cord. It has a 4" chain extension to make longer or shorter if desired, making this necklace able extend up to 23"
This necklace fluoresces yellow under common black light , under shortwave UV light, and under longwave UV light.
This necklace is great for enhancing any boho party or rave fashion outfit. This necklace is unisex.
This specimen was photographed using a 36 watt shortwave ultraviolet lamp and a S2 Convoy LW light. The pictures have not been retouched.
*Please keep in mind that exposure to UV light is dangerous. We recommend the use of protective goggles and gloves, and wearing sunscreen in the hands when handling minerals under UV light*
