This specimen contains super bright fluorescent Marialite (sodium-rich variety of scapolite), pyrite specs, small amount of calcite, and on non-fluorescing Lapis Lazuli. It is from Sar-e Sang, Afghanistan.
Marialite: white/grey under daylight, bright yellow fluorescence under LW UV light, pale yellow/pale white under SW UV light.
Lapis Lazuli: blue under daylight, non fluorescing under LW/SW UV light.
Pyrite: gold under daylight, non fluorescing under LW/SW UV light.
Calcite: white under daylight, fluoresces orange under SW UV light.
