*Regular black lights don't usually work for fluorescent minerals, so make sure you use the proper indicated UV light*
*Please keep in mind that the higher the UV light's wattage is, the brighter the fluorescent reaction will be*
This specimen contains fluorescent bright Calcite on franklinite, garnet, hendricksite,a spec of apatite, and small amounts of yellow fluorescing longwave minerals
Calcite: white under daylight, fluoresces orange under SW/LW UV light.
Franklinite: black under daylight, non fluorescing under UV light.
Garnet: brown/green under daylight, non fluorescing under UV light.
Hendricksite: brown/silver under daylight, non fluorescing under UV light. (mica)
Unknown mineral: yellow under LW, non fluorescing under SW UV light.
Apatite: blue under daylight, non fluorescing under UV light.
