This necklace features an awesome specimen of super bright willemite and franklinite.
Willemite: grey under daylight, fluoresces neon green under SW/LW UV light.
Franklinite: black under daylight, non fluorescing under UV light.
It has been wrapped in copper wire and hangs on a 19" black vegan faux suede cord that can be extended to 21". It glows bright green under shortwave UV black-light and longwave UV black-light, with shortwave being the most vibrant.
This specimen was photographed using a convoy S2+ longwave ultraviolet flashlight. The pictures have not been retouched.
The specimen was self collected from Sterling Hill Mine in New Jersey.
