This fluorescent scapolite bracelet is wrapped in rose gold wire and has vegan white faux suede straps. It is 6" long, contains a 2" chain extension to fit various wrist sizes.
We recommend cutting down the chain to the desired wrist size after fitting.
It fits perfectly on a 6" wrist without the extension.
This bracelet fluoresces yellow/orange under shortwave UV light, and under longwave UV light.
This bracelet is great for enhancing any boho or rave fashion outfit.
This specimen was photographed using a convoy S2+ longwave ultraviolet flashlight and a 36 watt shortwave light. The pictures have not been retouched.
*Please keep in mind that exposure to UV light is dangerous. We recommend the use of protective goggles and gloves, and wearing sunscreen in the hands when handling minerals under UV light*
*You will need a true filtered Shortwave UV light or a Longwave UV light in order to see the fluorescence shown in the pictures.
Regular black lights will usually not show fluorescence at all.
*Please keep in mind that the higher the UV light's wattage is, the brighter the fluorescent reaction will be*
Shortwave lamps have a range of 200-280 nm.
Longwave lights have a spectrum of 315-400 nm and are also called UVA.
