This choker necklace features an specimen of super bright willemite, calcite, and franklinite.
Willemite: grey under daylight, fluoresces neon green under SW/LW UV light.
Calcite: white under daylight, fluoresces neon orange under SW/LW UV light.
Franklinite: black under daylight, non fluorescing under UV light.
It has been wrapped in brown coated copper wire and hangs on a 14" brown vegan faux suede cord that can be extended to 16". It glows bright orange, and green under shortwave UV black-light and longwave UV black-light, with shortwave being the most vibrant.
This specimen was photographed using a 36 watt shortwave ultraviolet lamp and a Convoy S2+ longwave flashlight. The pictures have not been retouched.
The specimen was self collected from Sterling Hill Mine in New Jersey.
